MP Calls for Moratorium on Conversion of Family Homes

Labour’s General Election candidate for Birmingham, Selly Oak, Steve McCabe has underlined the significance of renewed support from NHS England for a local children’s charity based in Selly Oak constituency.

Steve McCabe has been a long-term supporter of Acorns Children’s Hospice, which provides care for life-limited and life-threatened children and support for their families.

Steve McCabe, MP for Birmingham Selly Oak, will launch his local campaign – Healthy Smiles for Birmingham – today (27th April), alongside Labour’s Shadow Health Secretary Jon Ashworth, to end the scandal of escalating child hospital tooth extractions in Birmingham.

Local MP, Steve McCabe paid a visit to Acorns Children’s Hospice ahead of his big charity sky dive at the end on the month.

On April 29 Steve will be jumping out of a plane from 15,000 ft to raise as much money as possible for Acorns and Macmillan Cancer Support. Steve has already raised over £1900 but with under a week to go is hoping to watch that figure grow as more people donate.
